These Terms govern your access to and use of Clarity, an AI decision laboratory. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Trust Center.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Clarity, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced here. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Clarity on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use Clarity. Accounts are created with an email address and password, with optional TOTP two-factor authentication. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
3. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation
Clarity offers a free tier plus paid monthly subscription tiers (Standard, Premium, and Elite). Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled.
- · Payments are processed by Stripe. Clarity does not store your card numbers.
- · Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price.
- · You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
- · Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. For billing questions, contact support.
- · We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable advance notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- · Use Clarity for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- · Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
- · Submit content that infringes others’ rights or violates applicable law.
- · Resell, sublicense, or share account access without authorization.
- · Use the service to provide regulated professional advice to third parties.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the inputs you submit (your decision scenarios, resumes, transcripts, and other content). You grant Clarity a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you. Clarity and its licensors own the platform, software, agent designs, models, and all associated intellectual property. Outputs generated for you may be used for your own purposes, subject to these Terms.
6. AI Disclaimer / No Professional Advice
Clarity uses a council of AI agents to deliberate your decision and return a synthesis, risk register, action plan, and an alignment/conviction score. This output is provided for informational purposes only and is generated by AI, which can be inaccurate or incomplete. Clarity is not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, medical, or therapeutic advice. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
7. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarity and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the service or its outputs. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Termination
You may stop using Clarity and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; account deletion triggers cryptographic erasure of your encrypted content as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice. Continued use of Clarity after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
